Healthy, cheap & easy to make smoothies

Daca urmariti bloguri consacrate, atat autohtone, cat si din strainatate, sau daca sunteti cat de cat interesati de diete, detoxuri si beauty-boost, atunci ati vazut cu siguranta multe articole despre smoothie-uri si alte bauturi din fructe si legume. Aceste smoothie-uri se gasesc peste tot: prin supermarketuri, in cafenele si pot fi chiar si comandate online. Singura problema este ca pot fi cam scumpe si nu toata lumea doreste sa dea sute de lei (da, chiar asa) pe cateva sticle mici de suc, chiar daca sunt sanatoase si benefice. Astfel, m-am gandit sa va prezint astazi cateva idei de smoothie-uri simple si facute din fructe si legume pe care le gasiti usor. Cei care ma cunosc stiu ca beau foarte des astfel de bauturi, nu doar pentru efectele benefice pe care le au asupra organismului, ci si pentru ca sunt super gustoase.

If you follow well-known blogs or if you are at least a bit interested in diets, detox or beauty-boost cleanses, then you must have seen the very large amount of articles on smoothies and other beverages made out of fruits and veggies. These smoothies can be found everywhere: in supermarkets, in cafes and can be ordered even online. The only problem is that they may be a little overpriced and not everyone wants to throw a lot of money on a few small bottles of juice, even though they are healthy and benefit the body. Therefore, I thought about coming up with a few smoothie ideas that are simple and made out of fruits and vegetables that can be found very easy. People who know me also know that I drink natural beverages very often, not only because of the great effects they have on the organism, but also for the terrific taste.

1.The “Miracle” Smoothie

Primul, si totodata preferatul meu este unul din cele mai cunoscute smoothie-uri. Un simplu search pe google poate aduce mii de rezultate despre efectele extraordinare ale acestei bauturi asupra sanatatii. Datorita ingredientelor componente, acest smoothie este un boost de energie, contine foarte multi nutrienti si antioxidanti. A fost preparat pentru prima oara in China si era folosit in tratarea cancerului de plamani in urma cu sute de ani. Ajuta la pastrarea sanatatii organelor, in special a rinichilor si ficatului, inhiba dezvoltarea celulelor canceroase, este benefic sistemului circulator pentru ca reduce colesterolul, etc. As putea sa va scriu zeci de astfel de efecte, deoarece sunt foarte, foarte multe. Ingredientul principal este sfecla rosie, dar inainte sa faceti “ughhh”, va rog credeti-ma pe cuvant ca este chiar bun la gust, iar daca nu ma credeti, incercati. Colegii de la facultate obisnuiau sa ma ia peste picior cu intrebari de genul: “Pop, iar bei sfecla?” (Andreea C, la tine ma uit). Da mai, iar beau, e super buna, lucru de care s-au convins cativa dintre ei gustand acest smoothie.

The 1st one, which is also my favorite is one of the best known smoothies. A simple google search will give you thousands of results about the great effects this beverage has on health. Thanks to its ingredients, this smoothie is an energy boost, it has a lot of nutrients and antioxidants. It was first prepared in China and was used in treating pulmonary cancer few hundreds years ago. It helps preserve the health of the organs, especially the kidneys and the liver, it inhibits the growth of cancer cells, it has beneficial effects on the circulatory system because it reduces cholesterol, and so on. I could write so many great effects because this drink has sooo many. The main ingredient is the beet, but before you go all “ughhh”, please take my word for it when I say it tastes great, and if you don’t, go try it yourself. My classmates from college used to mock me saying: “Yo, drinking beets again?” (Andreea C. it’s you I’m looking at). Yes, guys, again, it’s awesome, and few of them actually tried it and convinced themselves.

Se curata, se taie bucati si se pun in blender. Pentru a se putea bea, se adauga apa, apa cu lamaie, suc NATURAL de mere sau compot de mere sau caise facut acasa (fara chimicale).

You peel them, cut them in pieces and put them in the blender. In order to be able to drink it, you add water, lemon water, NATURAL apple juice or apple / apricot homemade compote (no added chemicals).

2.The Cucumber Banana Smoothie

Castravetii au un continut foarte ridicat de apa, acest fapt ajutand la hidratarea organismului. Contin vitamine si antioxidanti, ajuta impotriva aciditatii si sunt eficienti in eliminarea toxinelor din tractul digestiv.

Spanacul, dupa cum stim de cand eram copii si ne uitam la Popeye marinarul, are de asemenea o multime de beneficii precum ameliorarea hipertensiunii, avitaminozei si anemiei.

Bananele, pe langa faptul ca au un gust foarte bun, au si rol in protejarea sanatatii oaselor, combat retentia apei in organism si sunt o bine cunoscuta sursa de potasiu care este foarte necesar functionarii optime ale organismului.

Acest smoothie este un beauty boost, in special pentru piele.

Cucumbers contain a very high amount of water, this helping the body to hydrate. They contain vitamins and antioxidants, help against acidity and are very efficient in eliminating the toxins from the digestive tract.

Spinach, as we all know since we were kids watching Popeye the sailor, helps with hypertension, avitaminosis and anemia.

Bananas, besides tasting so good, have a role in protecting the bones health, fighting the water retention and are a well known source of potassium which is very much needed for the body to work properly.

This smoothie is a beauty boost, especially for the skin.

Se pun ingredientele in blender taiate bucati si se adauga apa si daca se doreste si suc de lamaie. Se mixeaza.

The ingredients are cut into pieces, added into the blender with water and if you want, lemon juice. Mix it togheter.

3.The Raspberry Blueberry Smoothie

Probabil cel mai usor de preparat, acest smoothie este racoritor si revigorant. Daca vara avem de unde achizitiona aceste fructe proaspete, iarna supermarketurile ne stau la dispozitie cu mixuri de fructe de padure la vrac, congelate. Eu imi cumpar pe perioada verii zmeura si afine si le pun la congelator, iar cand se termina, achizitionez din magazinele mari si pot spune ca pana acum am fost multumita. Aceasta bautura este un plus de energie, e sanatoasa si e perfecta pentru a fi bauta in loc de oricare din sucurile din comert. Fructele de padure sunt pline de vitamine, in special afinele care mentin sanatatea ochilor, previn imbatranirea precoce si intaresc sistemul imunitar.

Probably the easiest one to make, this smoothie is very cool and refreshing. If during summer we can buy these fruits fresh, in the winter we can purchase them in supermarkets, refrigerated. I buy a large amount during summer and refrigerate them at home, but when I run out, I buy them in stores. This beverage is an energy boost, it’s healthy and it is a perfect replacement for the sodas in stores. Berries contain a lot of vitamins, especially the blueberries that help maintain the eye health, prevent premature aging and strengthen the immune system.

Se mixeaza in blender impreuna cu apa sau suc de lamaie.

Mix it all together in the blender with water or lemon juice.

4.The Kiwi Banana Smoothie

Un gust formidabil, cel putin asta e parerea mea. Boost de energie si vitamine. Da, am scris asa la toate, dar ce sa le faci fructelor si legumelor daca asta ne ofera? Cine nu a auzit de zicala: “un mar pe zi tine doctorul la distanta.” ? Merele, printre beneficiile lor, reduc colesterolul, mentin dintii albi si sanatosi, stimuleaza sistemul imunitar si aduc un mare aport de vitamina A care actioneaza ca o bariera impotriva infectiilor tesutului epitelial.

An amazing taste, at least that’s my opinion. Energy and vitamin boost. Yes, I said this for each one of them, but what can I do if fruits and veggies offer us this? Who didn’t hear that “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” ? Apples reduce the cholesterol, keep the teeth white and healthy, stimulate the imune system and contain the vitamin A that acts like a barrier against the infection of the epithelial tissue.

RONDELE DE CEREALE EXPANDATE (gasiti cu maxim 2 lei in magazine) / BOLTS OF CEREALS

IAURT SIMPLU / PLAIN YOGURT

FRUCTE / FRUITS

Eu am folosit fructe de padure. Pe rondelele de cereale, puneti doua – trei linguri de iaurt, il intindeti si apoi adaugati fructe. Nimic mai simplu.

I used berries. On the cereal bolts add two or three spoons of yogurt, spread it on the entire surface and then add the fruits. Nothing more simple.

P.S. Nu am scris cantitatile deoarece las la aprecierea fiecaruia ce doreste sa puna mai mult sau mai putin. In afara de primul smoothie pe care l-am gasit la Dr. Oz, celelalte sunt “creatie proprie” sa zic asa, deci puteti face modificari dupa bunul vostru plac.

P.S. I did not write the quantities because it is your choice what to put more or less in the smoothies. Other than the first one, the other smoothies are my own “creation”, so you can change the recipe after your own taste.
