Street look with Fedora hat and printed top

Hats are a statement item in fashion that can bring a cool look to any outfit. There are many hat types (cowboy hats, mini-hats, victorian and beach hats, etc.), but by far the most worn and loved is the Fedora hat. I love wearing hats, and not only in summer, but also in colder seasons because they give a chic vibe to my look. One thing that I don’t like is that people are skeptic about hats saying that these are “weird”  and “obsolete”. They couldn’t be more wrong.

Another good thing about this type of hat is that besides the fact that it adds to the look, aesthetically talking, it also has a functional role: it helps us hide a bad hair day in a very elegant and effortless manner and keeps us warm in colder seasons. The outfit I wore few days ago has a printed top and the Fedora as central pieces. When I was trying on clothes in front of the mirror, I fell in love with this combo instantly. I believe this is a look that can be worn on the streets as well as on a date or on a girls day out. The top is actually a longer shirt, but I tied it around the waist because it looked better than tucked inside the skirt, makes the outfit look more summerish. What do you think?

I got the envelope bag as a present and I had it for more than a year. I loved it ever since I got it and I kept thinking of what I could pair it with, but nothing seemed good enough until now. The colors of the envelope bag can be found on the top, this way managing to successfully complete the look. The skirt I chose I think every one of us has in her closet. I love that it is figure-hugging and it is also very comfortable. You can find it in New Yorker stores among their basic items at a very good price.
